The Cyber Vision ™ CDS Computer System
The Cyber Vision System encompasses the next stage of evolution for our CDS Operating Control system (PLC) allowing for greater accuracy in deciphering target from non target attributes such as hard band, relief grooves, slip cuts and other features that may otherwise prove difficult to read.
What makes us unique from all other tool joint finding mechanisms is that if finds the seam of tool joint not its upset. This reference point never changes due to reface, recuts, hard band or die cuts or eccentricity of tool joints.
The certainty of seam for connection detection eliminates variance from shoulder length to shoulder length often found throughout a given string of pipe.

The Cyber Vision System can utilize sector or vector analysis for the evaluation of target and non target attributes of a given tool joint.

A portfolio of profiles of non - connection seam surface features of different tubular connections is generated and stored in a database, and accessed by the system which enables identifying the connection seam / face with greater accuracy.

Pre configured pipe profiles stored In the CDS Computer System allow for easy recall and upload for given type of pipe.

Pipe Profiles can be captured and tuned in field or on the Cyber Test Stand.

This video shows the Rogers Oil Tools HTP4 deploying a 10HT Automated Drill Pipe Tong on the Erik Raude semi submersible drilling rig. The 10HT is configured to run remotely from drillers chair or via wireless remote control and is fully integrated to the rig zone management system.
